Become a NAHSA Member

Now that you've seen the value of NAHSA Membership for your business, become a member in one of the following categories:

Distributor Membership - is open to any business entity, whose primary business is to sell to companies other than principles in the corporation, that meets the following requirements:

  • Has been in the business of selling greenhouse and nursery hardgood supplies for at least 2 full calendar years preceding application for membership.
  • Annual sales of greenhouse and nursery supplies to commercial growers exceeds $1.5 million.
  • Employs at least 2 full-time outside sales representatives calling on the commercial greenhouse or nursery market, and/or promotes their products through a catalog.
  • Maintains an inventory level of nursery and greenhouse hardgoods of at least $200,000 in a warehouse that is at least 5,000 square feet, that adheres to all State/Federal and/or provincial requirements.
  • Makes deliveries from their distribution center.
  • Extends credit to regular customers.
  • Assets exceed liabilities at the close of their most recent fiscal year.
  • Every distributor member is expected to participate in the PAR Survey

Manufacturer Membership - is open to any business entity engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of horticultural supplies commonly sold by NAHSA Distributor members, who meet the following requirements:

  • Sell these products to a horticultural distributor on an exclusive basis for redistribution, or
  • Sells these products through three or more distributors who are members of NAHSA, or who meet the above Distributor Membership Eligibility Requirements

Affiliate Membership - is open to any business entity engaged in the publication of technical journals, textbooks, or trade publications pertaining to the horticultural hardgood supply industry. Download Affiliate Application
